About Us

In July 2022, the FGI team began working to raise awareness for young at-promise girls, whose bright future is in danger of harm or self-harm. FGI is committed to providing  help, protection, and guidance, in addition to making sure that resources are available to help at-promise girls achieve their fullest potential – in life and school.

The Florida Girls Initiative vision is to become a state-funded initiative that provides resources for communities across Florida to address critical issues impacting the lives of at-promise girls.
